Modeling & manufacturing of a wireline cable with carbon reinforcements
End-of-studies internship at Schlumberger Vector S.A.S (Abbeville), supervised by François Auslender (academic) and François Chevilliard (SLB). The work covered the full chain: material characterization of the carbon/epoxy composite, cable manufacturing (fiber production, assembly, jacketing), and the creation of a complete numerical model — meshing, material orientation, boundary conditions and interactions — followed by simulation-driven optimization of the cable configuration.
